The Best Moments Cannot Be Planned
The Best Moments Cannot Be Planned
One of the reasons I enjoy spending time outdoors is that nature rarely follows a schedule.
You can walk for an hour without seeing anything unusual, then suddenly a small sparrow lands nearby and everything changes. For a few quiet seconds it becomes the entire story.
What struck me was not how close it came, but how ordinary the moment seemed. There was no dramatic scene, no rare wildlife encounter, no perfect setup. Just a common bird pausing long enough to remind me that ordinary moments often become extraordinary when we choose to pay attention.
Photography has taught me that patience is often rewarded in unexpected ways.
The best images are not always the most spectacular. Sometimes they are simply honest moments that would have disappeared forever if we had been looking somewhere else.
Perhaps life works the same way.
The moments we treasure most are often the ones we never planned.
