THE ANCHOR OF VALUE

It is Tuesday morning, well before the sun comes up. The city is completely quiet, and I am standing by the window looking out at the dark streets below. This is my favorite time to ground my thoughts before the rush of the day begins.

Lately, I have been thinking a lot about what we are all chasing. It is easy to get caught up in trying to look successful or hitting certain markers to impress other people. But real fulfillment does not come from titles or applause. It comes from being of actual value.

When you change your focus from "how do I succeed today?" to "how can I help someone or solve a real problem today?", everything changes. Success becomes a natural result of the good things you put into the world. Let us shift our focus today from what we can take to what we can give. Focus on being a person of true substance, because a life built on value will always outlast temporary success.
