This dog freaked out over a squirrel so hard his bark broke

When most of us see a squirrel, we don’t usually tend to dwell on it too much.

We might stop to stare if it’s a particularly cute/brazen little critter; we might even point it out to a small child so they can take a look, too. But that’s it.

But then… I guess we’re not a Springer Spaniel. It turns out those guys really, really notice squirrels.

In fact, this one went so nuts (har har…) about seeing one of the rodents that even from the inside of a car he could barely contain himself.

The video – in which the dog’s bark sounds like it’s actually broken with the excitement – has gone viral and it’s not hard to see why.
