THE ART OF THE RESET

It happened right in the middle of my morning routine today. The internet connection suddenly dropped. I looked over at the router, and the lights were blinking red. My first reaction was irritation. I had things to do, posts to plan, and work to finish. But staring at a blinking light does not fix it. I had to unplug the power cord, sit down, and wait.

As I sat there waiting for the system to boot back up, I realized how often this happens in life. We run into a sudden wall or an unexpected delay, and we immediately lose our calm. We try to force things to move faster. But some things just take time. Getting angry at a slow router changes nothing.
When you choose to keep your composure during a small crisis, your perspective shifts. The pause becomes an opportunity to breathe. When the lights finally turned green and the connection returned, I realized the wait was worth it. Sometimes we just need to let things reset.
