The Midweek Pivot

The sky over my small world is doing something interesting today. It started with that sharp prairie sun but as we hit the lunch hour the clouds are beginning to cluster together in a way that feels heavy and charged. We are pushing twenty-five degrees right now with a humidex of twenty-seven so the air has that thick pre storm energy that makes everything feel a bit more intense.

I am taking my break out in the city before the rain hits. There is a risk of a thunderstorm later and you can feel the wind starting to pick up at thirty kilometers per hour. It is a massive contrast to the heat we are feeling. One minute you are under a high UV index of six and the next you are looking for cover.

The transition tonight is going to be a sharp one. We are looking at a low of two degrees with showers clearing out before morning. It is a reminder that in this part of the world you have to be ready for the pivot. You can have a summer afternoon and a near freezing night in the same twenty-four hour cycle.

I am heading back to the work space to finish my missions before the clouds break. Stay aware of the shift and keep your momentum steady regardless of the weather.
